According to Chinese Philosophy 5 Elements represent the Universe and has been part of TCM medicine for centuries as a form of describing interactions between the internal organs, and the physiology and pathology within the body.
Each element has unique characteristics and are associated with a specific season, colour, flavour, a specific area within the body, organ, and its meridian.
Traditional Chinese medicine has over more than 2000 years old and has evolved through the years. The basic concept is the vital force of life called “Qi` `that runs through the body, the imbalance of Qi can trigger illness, and imbalance causing an alternation in the opposite and complementary forces the Ying-Yang.The Ying-Yang symbol is a representation of the Tao philosophy which can be a form of action without intention, naturalness, simplicity and spontaneous.

The Yin-Yang symbol is a representation of the Tao philosophy which can be described Wu Wei, as a form of action without intention, naturalness, simplicity, spontaneous and the Three Treasures, compassion, frugality, and humility. The symbol Yin Yang represents the Taiji, which is the symbol of diagram the curve symbolizes the constant change of balance between yin and yang. Each side contains a small circle of the opposite colour, is representing the´´ Great Pole´ ´which is a cosmological term for the ´´Supreme Ultimate´´ state of absolute and infinite potential, the oneness before duality, from which Yin and Yang originate. This demonstrate the belief that nothing is never really yin, or all is yang and vice-versa, they are opposite forces which are interconnected and complementary, where share an independent relationship, without yin there would be no yang, and without yang would be no yin.
